1976 Dart "Lite"

More Pictures [Here]
In response to increased interest in fuel economy, Dodge offered the Dart Lite fuel economy package which weighed at least 150 lb (68 kg) less than the ordinary Dart Sport. The 225 Slant Six was the only available engine, equipped with an aluminum intake manifold for the first time since 1960 and a specially calibrated carburetor and distributor. Bumper reinforcement brackets were aluminum instead of steel, while the hood and trunk lid bracing and inner panels were also aluminum. The Slant Six engine block had already been modified for reduced weight in 1975; in the middle of 1976 production its crankshaft was changed from forged steel to lighter cast iron. The high-flow exhaust system included a dual-biscuit catalytic converter, a 2 1/4" headpipe, and the muffler used on V8 models. The Dart Lite was equipped with a 2.94:1 rear axle rather than the customary 3.21:1 ratio when the car was ordered with a three- or four-speed manual transmission. The A833OD overdrive 4-speed manual transmission housing was made of aluminum. Like all other Darts, the Dart Lites with automatic transmission came with a 2.76:1 rear axle as standard equipment. The Dart Lite with manual transmission was rated by the EPA at 36 mpg (6.5 l/100KM) in highway driving. The Plymouth version was the Feather Duster.
WOW! 36 mpg from a 1976 car!! This old dart has been parked quite a while but I was told they parked it because the carb was messing up ( it's in a box on the floorboard, guess they didn't know how to fix it ) It only shows 68,000 mi on the odometer. You could get her going and have cheap transportation or completely restore it and who knows what she would be worth. Either way I'm selling it "as is" and have it priced to sell. This car does have the aluminum housing 833 4-speed which is pretty valuable by itself.

1965 Chevrolet Impala Sport Coupe
[More Pictures]
1965 Chevrolet Impala Sport Coupe original 327 3-speed car with no motor or tranny. This car has been back-halfed and tubbed and has a 12-bolt rearend on mono-leaf springs. It would make a great Pro-Street project or Drag Car. The car could be put back to all original with a little extra work. Most all of the interior is there, the dash and gauges are in pretty good shape and it has a factory tach. It still has the pedals so you could make it a 4-speed car pretty easy. The floor pans are pretty solid with just a couple small patches. The lower quarters and wheel openings need some rust repair. You can buy the car "as is" or the experts here at the MuscleCar Station can build this old Impala into "THE CAR OF YOUR DREAMS" and ship it right to your door!
1973 Road-Runner 340

[More Pictures]
This is a REAL 1973 Road-Runner 340 4-barrel, Slapstick 727 auto, 8 3/4 rear end with 323 gears, Bucket seats, Console car. The car is complete and the only thing that doesn't appear to be original is the hood (it must be a 1974 hood because it doesn't have the vent louvers at the rear of the hood like a 73 should have). It does have the original numbers matching 340 in it and from the looks of it has never been out of the car. The car had been sitting for 8 years before we got it. We spent a few days working on it and got it running and driving, and all the lights working. We put an Edelbrock 4-barrel on it (the thermo-quad was junk but goes with the car) flushed the fuel tank and lines. The motor sounds and runs great and doesn't smoke, tranny works great, rear-end is open or posi is bad because it will sure fry one tire when you step on it! The car drives really nice and the brakes work good. She looks pretty rough but, the car has very solid frame rails, floor pans, and trunk floor. It's NOT rusted-out around the windshield or rear glass or trunk opening and everything's good under the hood. The rust repair it does need is: new quarter skins (outer wheel-houses are good), trunk extensions, and some work on the rockers and lower front fenders.
This car needs a total restoration to make it really nice but, if you want a driver to fix-up as you go, this is it! We would be happy to do any or all of the work on this car for the new owner here at the "MuscleCar Station" in Fort Scott, KS.
